Pigments for the colouring of plastics generally have to accomplish with high technical requirements, regardless whether plastic films, profiles, cases or fibres should be coloured.

Good dispersing properties are necessary for the pigments owing to short dwell times and relatively low shearing forces of the converting machines as to reach quickly the final colour strength. They have to be of high heat resistance, do not migrate and being appropriately light and weather resistant.
