Euronox® - Inorganic Colourants
Euronoxes® are high-quality, aqueous pigment preparations based on inorganic pigments. The various product lines provide formulations of different types of tensides (surface-active agents) (see overview). The preserving agents used are free of formaldehyde-containing or -forming substances.
The special formulation in combination with different additives used obtains a high pigment content of up to 70 % providing stable coloristic and physical properties as well as excellent sedimentation and storage stability.
The production process of Euronoxes® is subject to substantial quality standards in respect of the production facility and raw materials in order to enable the use of them in premium applications. This ensures, for example, that colour shade and colour strength vary in a very tight tolerance range. Euronoxes are in addition suitable for both gravimetric and volumetric dosing and they can therefore be used in paint mixing systems.
As inorganic pigments are used exclusively, the light and weather fastness of Euronoxes® are very high.
A large number of Euronox® pigment preparations comply with RAL-UZ 102 and RAL-UZ 12a. For some of the products AgBB (German Committee for Heath-related Evaluation of Building Products) evaluations are available.

Respective specifications are defined for every individual product in order to ensure a constantly good quality from consignment to consignment and thus in the application too. These specifications include colorimetric properties such as dE* and relative colour strength as well as physical properties such as viscosity, pH value, and density. Beyond the standard tests, it is possible to carry out individual tests according to the method and/or medium applied by the customer.
The specification conformance of every single Euronox® batch is ensured by an internal quality control (certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2008). Upon request, a batch-related certificate of conformity is issued based on these test results.
Euronox® is available in packaging of plastic drums of various filling capacities and one-way containers (IBC). Furthermore, individual packaging upon customer request is also possible including, for example, small amount filling in plastic bottles or buckets.
