Pigments as all-rounders
In addition to their superior coloring properties, pigments often have technical properties. Certain carbon blacks are conductive, some black iron oxides are magnetic, and some reflect thermal radiation. Still other pigments can be incorporated into ceramic materials, improving the properties of a ceramic catalyst.
