What is needed?
Inorganic pigments are suitable for ionic colouring of glasses. For example, you can obtain green shades with pure chromium oxide green. Depending on the amount added, the colour intensity and the exact shade will vary.
By controlling the oxidation conditions in the glass melt, yellow-brown, green and blue-green colourations are obtained when colouring with the iron oxides Bayferrox® 130, Bayferrox® 920 and Bayferrox® 222, respectively.
