In silent memory
It is with great sadness that we say farewell to our former partner and valued colleague Günter Celik, who passed away at the age of 82 after a long, serious illness.
Günter Celik was part of Harold Scholz & Co. GmbH for almost 25 years and shaped our company for decades. As a proven specialist in binders and pigments, he combined profound expertise with genuine passion for his work. With his great entrepreneurial spirit, he was always looking for new business opportunities and ways to actively develop our industry.
He particularly influenced the first trade fair appearances at the European Coatings Show (ECS) and thus provided important impulses that are still reflected in our trade fair presence and our public image today. His open-mindedness for new things, his focus on solutions and his eye for opportunities made him a valuable source of inspiration – far beyond his active time.
He was a person who was always helpful, collegial and with a fine sense of humor. He managed to handle even challenging situations with ease. To this day, we speak with respect and a warm smile about the work of his former department in Bramsche, which dates back to F.H.C. Bramsche. His way of leading and his special connection to this location have left lasting marks.
We are pleased that we remain close to his family – in particular through the continued commitment of his children Claudia and Christian, who continue their father's journey.
With Günter Celik, we lose a long-time companion who has shaped our company with heart, vision and commitment. We will remember him with gratitude.
