We get asked this question regularly. The short answer: Yes – but with limitations.
Why? When it comes to concrete, several factors play a decisive role:
> Brilliance and intensity of the desired shade
> The RAL colour itself
> The choice of pigment
➡️ Organic pigments (e.g. for very bright shades of pink or purple) are intense but not weather-resistant – meaning they are not a permanent solution for outdoor concrete.
➡️ Inorganic pigments, on the other hand, are robust, UV and weather resistant. They make it very easy to approximate many RAL shades, especially in combination with grey or white cement.
Are you currently planning a project or do you have a specific RAL colour in mind? We give you specific dosage recommendations, tailored to cement colour and desired shade, so that you get as close as possible to your target RAL.
