All aboveground parts of the building were made of coloured exposed concrete using cast-in-place concrete. Load-bearing pillars, ceilings and walls are made of glass-smooth exposed concrete. Floors consist partly of coloured and diamond-cut concrete. The façade was built with prefabricated concrete elements, which were coloured with the same liquid paint. On the accessible roof terrace, coloured exposed concrete panels are laid in the same colour as the building.
Exposed concrete is therefore present throughout the building, and the excellent formwork and uniform colouring make the building look “as if cast from one piece.” 10% liquid brown HS 655 N F-BB in gray cement was used.
