Te Pae North Piha Surf Life Saving Tower

In the middle of the black sand dunes on North Piha Beach west of Auckland in New Zealand, a black lifeguard tower was built that is second to none. The tower, which is almost entirely made of concrete, was designed by Crosson Architects and decorated in the “SuperBlack” of our local partner Peter Fell Limited, it perfectly reflects the dark and rough west coast of New Zealand.
