What do you do when training to become a chemical technician?

The training to become a chemical technician is a versatile vocational training course. During the training period, prospective chemical technicians are trained as skilled workers who are able to understand, control and carry out chemical processes.

Practical training takes place at us, while the vocational school provides theoretical knowledge such as basic chemical laws, safety regulations, environmental protection measures and quality controls.

At scholz, prospective chemical technicians get to know the various production facilities and laboratory areas. They work under the guidance of experienced scholars and are introduced step by step to the tasks of a chemical technician. This includes the production of chemical products, the control of production processes, the maintenance and cleaning of plants and the implementation of quality controls.

During their training, our prospective chemical technicians are also prepared to comply with safety-relevant regulations. The focus is on responsible handling of hazardous substances and compliance with safety measures. Environmental protection also plays an important role, because chemists must ensure that no harmful substances are released into the environment and that we act sustainably.

What is needed to train as a chemical technician? Understanding of scientific connections, manual skills and accuracy.
