On November 7 and 8, 2023, the Ostvest Vocational College in Datteln opened its doors to over 300 students who had the opportunity to dive into the world of vocational training. The trade fair “Experience meets curiosity — trainees inform at BK Ostvest” was not only an opportunity for educational institutions to present their training occupations: 44 different companies, institutions and organizations were also on site to present their companies and training occupations to students. We were there, of course!
For the first time, companies also presented themselves at stands outside the forum, and there was a student rally on smartphones with questions about the companies and their training offers for students. External classes were also present on Wednesday. All of this gave the event a playful and interactive page that was not only informative but also entertaining.
We all had a lot of fun, good conversations and hope that the visitors enjoyed it too. Our blue sheep made for questioning faces. Many were interested in the story behind the fact that one of our customers dyed his sheep using cast resin with our pigments.
