Seed treatment with our pigments
Our color is made from specially selected raw materials that are perfectly suited for seed treatment. The result is vibrant, opaque, water-based pigment dispersions that are easy to incorporate and resistant to settling. For service providers who treat seeds or manufacture seed treatments, these pigments are ideal for the standard color coding required by law in many countries. If necessary, undyed or weakly pigmented treatments can also be re-pigmented with our colors without the use of microplastics.
More than just a requirement: Colored seeds with brand impact
As a manufacturer, using our color also provides a clear brand impact for your customers. Furthermore, using color pigments allows you to ensure that potentially outdated seed is clearly identifiable, and the coloring may also help prevent unjustified complaints. For the most common color, red, we offer pigment pastes based on PR48:2. For blue or green treatments, we have pigment pastes based on PBl15:3 or PG7 in our range.

There is a good reason why the use of insecticides and fungicides in seed treatment is strictly regulated in the EU: certain substances toxic to bees (e.g., clothianidin or thiamethoxam) are prohibited or only permitted with special authorization.
Using your expertise, you develop abrasion-resistant formulations that serve agriculture and keep active ingredients as close to the seed as possible. As equally responsible color manufacturers, we use suitable pigment pastes to ensure uniform marking of your treated seeds—completely free of microplastics. Upon request, we can provide product-specific information regarding composition (e.g., proof of the absence of synthetic polymer particles/microplastics).
